Email Support – Microsoft Outlook XP (2002)

For incentre.net email accounts, you’ll need these settings:

  • account type – POP3
  • incoming mail server – pop.incentre.net
  • outgoing mail server – smtp.incentre.net
  • username – (your full email address)
  • incoming mail port – 110
  • outgoing mail port – 25

For email accounts using other domain names, like yourcompany.com or ccinet.ab.ca, the settings will vary depending on your domain.

NOTE – the info below uses yourcompany.com as an example domain.  Substitute your actual domain name (jetnet.ab.ca, business.ca, whatever it may be) wherever you see yourcompany.com below.

  • account type – POP3

  • outgoing mail server – smtp.yourcompany.com
  • username – (your full email address)
  • incoming mail port – 110
  • outgoing mail port – 25

You can easily build a new account to check your email address:

  1. Click Tools at the top, choose Email Accounts in that list
  2. Select Add a new email account, then press Next
  3. Choose POP3 as the type, press Next
  4. Enter all settings for your account per above
  5. Press Next, then Finish

To troubleshoot, use these steps:

  1. Click Tools at the top, choose Email Accounts in that list
  2. Select View or change existing email accounts, then press Next
  3. Select the account and press Change
  4. Compare your settings to the examples given above.  Note that there are additional settings under the More Settings button.
