Mission
"To enhance awareness of diverse cultural values, promote understanding,
interaction,
partnership and goodwill among people of Mill Woods in particular, and
Edmonton in general, for
a better living environment."
Objectives
- To promote cross-cultural interaction between various community leagues
and ethno- cultural groups.
- To improve access for all residents to programs and activities offered
in Mill Woods.
- To assist in improving cross-cultural understanding and acceptance as
well as to foster a
healthier educational environment in Mill Woods and Edmonton schools.
- To provide an environment in which all residents have an equal
opportunity to contribute to
the social, cultural, and economic development of the Community. To
foster social harmony and Canadian values in all segments of
the Community.
