On Thursday, July 11, 2002 in the afternoon hours between 13:30 to 14:00, a Telus edge concentrator in the Edmonton Toll central office experienced a software failure. This software failure would have resulted in a complete loss of connectivity for most customers with IP/data services traversing this device. Telus technicians have fixed the problem and are continuing to monitor the device to ensure no further problems arise. Telus apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may have caused. |
