As of 6:30pm on Thursday, August 15, 2002, we have been experiencing various network problems related to
a Telus OC3 fibre outage. The Telus OC3 fibre provides internet backbone connectivity throughout the Edmonton
and surrounding areas. The outage could affect emails, dial-up, websites, and ADSL connections. Other problems could include packet losses and slow connectivity. Telus Advanced Communications is currently working on locating the source of the problem. We will continue to monitor the situation. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience this outage may cause. |
