Once you have removed the virus, it is recommended that you run a live-update of your Anti-virus virus definitions list, and then perform a complete virus scan of your computer. The most popular excuse for the majority of users, is that they didn't want to pay for a $30/year subscription to Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus or McAfee's Virus Scan. For about $30 Canadian, you can be protected from viruses rather than pay in excess of $75 for a computer technician to remove the virus for you.

Remember to configure the Anti-virus program to filter and enable email virus protection. You can also configure Outlook and Outlook Express with the Virus Stopper, which will stop the spread of some viruses that use your address book.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Symantecs, McAfee, or a computer service centre.
