Eudora - Email Configuration

A. Setting up Eudora
  1. Click the menu TOOLS, and OPTIONS.


  2. Select the icon "Getting Started" and enter:
    • Your name
    • Return email address
    • Incoming mail server
    • Login name
    • Outgoing mail server
    • Remove the check mark for "Allow authentication".



  3. Select the icon "Checking Mail" and enter:
    • Optional: select "Save password".



  4. Select the icon "Incoming Mail" and enter:
    • Server configuration: "POP"
    • Remove the check mark "Leave mail on server"



  5. Select the icon "Sending Mail" and enter:
    • Select "Immediate send"
    • Select "Send on check"



  6. Select the icon "Viewing Mail" and enter:
    • REMOVE check mark for "Allow executables in HTML content"



  7. Select the icon "Extra Warnings" and enter:
    • REMOVE check mark for "Launch a program from a message"



  8. Click "OK" to finish.
