Outlook Express Virus Stopper
To temporarily stop viruses from being distributed from your computer, through the email program Outlook Express, simply follow the instructions below.
  1. With Outlook Express open, click on ADDRESSES, select the menu FILE, and select NEW CONTACT.
  2. Type in "!0000 - Virus Stopper" in the Display field, and then click OK.
  3. The next time a virus infects your computer, the "!0000 - Virus Stopper" will automatically prevent viruses from being sent out, as well as warn you that something is wrong. You will then need to run your Anti-Virus update, and an Anti-Virus scan of your computer and all the harddrives.
  4. Repeat the above for every computer in your home or office.
